I am managing some windows 11 computers, and we are using a patch manager. The feature updates which are notorious for taking a lot longer than anything else, are constantly failing with the hex that is translated to "ACCESS_DENIED". It has been suggested that the computer is going to sleep, putting the update to a halt. I found this setting:
I just changed it to 300 minutes, but many people are suggesting that updates quit once the computer is asleep. If that was the case, why is the hard disk on/off even an option?
Should I also be modifying this as well? I have already been using sfc/dism just to rule out some options and the computers have not had any corruptions so far, so that is good.
