Is it seriously true that Microsoft forgot to add in Windows 11 a taskbar percentile indicator of battery charge?
I have been searching on the Web about this and it appears that only Windows store apps seem to add this functionality, but in a very crude and ugly way, instead of a n% appearing on the side of the battery icon it appears as a number without a percentage sign and after all the usual system indicators on the taskbar (WiFi, sound, etc).
I am using a 2-in-1 tablet PC and being able to see battery percentage at a glance would be very useful, specifically when the battery saving mode is enabled and a leaf appears over the battery icon in the taskbar making it difficult to see how much battery is left if it is less than 50%.
This is a simple detail that I would be shocked to know that a big company like Microsoft forgot to implement, I am almost putting myself to the task of making a program to fill in this gap.
