I have enabled disk write caching for my SSD. There is 8 GB of RAM installed in my system which pretty much goes untilised as I have about 2~3 GB remaining free.
I have RAM compression enabled and Modified memory just shows 53 MB. I have checked using HWiNFO tool that as I use my chromium browser like Edge and Chrome, some files get constantly updated like Local State, GPU Cache, cookies etc.
I am fed up of both Chromium and Windows not managing the caches properly. Windows can utilise more RAM as cache and even chrome can limit writing files.
Can I somehow (though some registry key / tool) increase memory being used for Write Cache? Android handles it very well via ZSwap.
Or Can I somehow limit chrome to use more memory instead of updating the files constantly.
